Crews allow you to group employees together, for example by location or role. Crews also allow specific jobs to be assigned to them. When a device has more than one crew assigned to it they will be merged together.

 

Creating a Crew

 
  1. Navigate to the crews page.
  2. Click the New button in the top-right corner.
  3. Give the Crew a name and optionally a note.
  4. Select employees you want to add to the crew by clicking their row in the employees list.
  5. Repeat the process for any jobs that should be added.
  6. Click Save

Any devices that are already configured to sync with crews will be assignable from the crews page. See the next section for switching devices to crew syncing.

Assigning Crews To Devices 

Multiple Crews

Multiple crews can be assigned to a single device. When there is more than one crew, employees and jobs will be mereged together.

 
  1. Edit the device from the Devices page.
  2. Change the Sync Type dropdown to Crews.
  3. Select the crews from the list you want to sync to this device.
  4. Click Save.
 

The next time the device syncs it will change to only show employees in the selected crews.
