Employee Count Explained
Our mobile subscription plans are “bucket”-based. Because the mobile app store’s do not support seat-based pricing, each plan includes a “bucket” of active employee seats that you can use however you see fit. What’s great about “bucket”-based pricing is your bill is always consistent and you’ll only ever be billed for the plan you choose.
If you bump up against your plan’s limit, the mobile/web apps will notify you when attempting to add a new employee or marking an employee as active. The system will automatically send the organization’s primary email address a notification that the limit has been reached and instructions on how to upgrade the plan.
To prevent from having to constantly change your plan from one tier to another based on fluctuating employee counts, we recommend selecting the appropriate plan size at the beginning and growing into your plan. Alternatively, you can change to a web-based plan that is truly real-time seat-based pricing that automatically adjusts based on the number of active employees you have at any given time.
For more information on active employees, please see this section.
How to create a new Mobile Subscription
Mobile subscriptions are tied to the device’s iCloud (Apple iOS) or Google Play (Google Android) account. Although the subscription is associated with this account, it will apply to your organization as a whole.
Mobile subscriptions can be created via the Onboarding, Report and Manual paywalls in the mobile application. The Onboarding and Report paywalls will only show if you don’t have any other types of current subscriptions.
To access the Manual paywall:
Click the Settings tab
Navigate to the Subscription section
Click “Change Plan"
Select the Product, Tier and Billing cycle right for your business
Product - Starter or Plus
Tier - Employee “bucket”

Click “Subscribe” (this button may change label depending on availability of app store trial) and progress through the prompts
All set!
